Directions
From London:
Take the M20 towards Ashford and come off at Junction 8, marked "Leeds Castle". Follow this road through the pretty village of Leeds for 4 miles to the cross roads, where you will see the Plough pub on your right. Turn left towards Headcorn, Sutton Valence and Tenterden (A274). Continue along this road for approximately 10 miles until you reach the village of Biddenden. At Biddenden, turn right at the small triangular village green, (sign post Sissinghurst and Tunbridge Wells) and follow the road for about 3/4 mile where there is a small turning to the left marked Fosten Green. Take this lane and Birchley is about 1 mile on the left.

From Dover:
Take the M20 to Ashford and exit on Junction 9. Follow the signs A28 Tenterden. Pass through High Halden and turn right at London Beach onto the A262 sign posted Biddenden, Tunbridge Wells. Follow the A262 through Biddenden until you reach a small left turning sign posted Fosten Green. Take this lane and Birchley is about 1 mile on the left.

From the North and East of England:
Make your way to the M25 and head towards the Dartford crossing and turn off at Junction 3, the M20 towards Dover. On the approaches to Maidstone you will see the brown signs for Leeds Castle turning off at Junction 8. Follow these to the Castle gates and carry on past them for 4 miles to the cross roads, where you will see The Plough public house on your right. Turn left onto the A274 towards Headcorn, Sutton Valence and Tenterden. Stay on the A274 for about 10 miles until you enter Biddenden. Turn right at the small triangular village green, following the sign post towards Sissinghurst and Tunbridge Wells for 3/4 mile and take the first left, sign posted Fosten Green. Take this lane and Birchley is about 1 mile on the left.

From the West, London Heathrow and Gatwick:
From London Heathrow head for the M25 towards Gatwick and Dover.
From Gatwick head north on the M23 to the M25 and head towards Dover.
At Junction 5 (M25), take the A21 towards Tonbridge and Hastings. Stay on the A21 for 18 miles until you reach the A262 at a new roundabout outside Lamberhurst. Take the A262 towards Goudhurst, Tenterden & Ashford and stay on the A262 until you see the Biddenden sign on the right opposite a nursery (Garden Crafts). Turn right here, sign posted Fosten Green. Take this lane and Birchley is about 1 mile on the left.
